Live online AI camp for ages 8-16

AI Summer Camp 2026

A 10-day guided online programme where students use AI to create, build, improve, and present one connected project on Demo Day.

Designed for children and teens who should do more with AI than copy quick answers.

What this is

Guided AI creation, not passive screen time.

Students work through one connected creative brand project from idea to final presentation. They learn how to prompt, review, improve, build, and explain their work with AI as a tool, not a shortcut.

What students build

One idea becomes a full project.

Each part of the camp adds another visible asset to the same student-created brand.

1

A real website

The brand’s home online, where every other project piece comes together.

2

AI-generated visuals

Product images, logo ideas, and brand visuals that make the project feel real.

3

A brand avatar and ad

A short video-style brand message that explains the idea and why it matters.

4

A brand jingle

The brand’s sound, created as a short catchy tune students can connect to their project.

5

A quiz or mini game

An interactive feature that lets visitors engage with the student’s brand.

6

Pitch slides and Demo Day

A final presentation where students explain what they built and how AI helped.

Learning outcomes

Students learn how to think with AI.

The goal is not to make AI do everything for them. The goal is to help students plan, question, improve, create, and explain their decisions.

  • Give AI clear, useful instructions.
  • Review and improve AI output instead of accepting everything.
  • Build a simple website and understand its parts.
  • Create images, video-style content, and audio with AI tools.
  • Test, fix, and improve a project before sharing it.
  • Present their work and explain what AI helped with.
  • Use AI responsibly and avoid common mistakes.

Safe and responsible AI is part of the work.

Students use fictional projects and are taught not to share real names, schools, addresses, or personal information. They also learn to check AI outputs for honesty, quality, and fairness before anything is presented.

10-day flow

From first idea to Demo Day.

The camp is structured so each session adds another part to the final student project.

Days 1-2

Choose the idea and build the first website

Students create a fictional brand idea, plan the website, and begin building the first version.

Days 3-4

Create brand images and improve the website

Students plan visual assets, generate images, add them to the website, and refine the design.

Days 5-6

Add media and interactivity

Students create a brand avatar or ad concept, add a jingle, and build a quiz or mini game.

Days 7-10

Polish, pitch, and present

Students improve their project, prepare slides, practise their explanation, and present on Demo Day.
